Thrive Stigwandish Foundation's Purpose
To receive, manage and disburse funds in support of facilities and Scouting activities at Camp Stigwandish, Boy Scouts of America ("The Camp") located in Lake County, OH. Said funds are not intended to be used in place of the normal operating budget funded by Lake Erie Council, Boy Scouts of America, (or any successor council) but rather to provide improvements or repairs not so funded. Disbursement of said funds will be approved by a majority of the trustees of the foundation.
In the event that the Boy Scouts of America or any subsidiary organization thereof ceases to own or operate the Camp as a Boy Scout Camp. The Trustees may disburse funds in any similar manner to support Scouting or other youth activities.
Trustees of the foundation will serve without compensation. Said Trustees may arrange for payment of incidental administrative expenses as they see fit, but in no event will funds raised or contributed for the benefit of the Camp be used for any purpose other than the direct benefit of the Camp.
There will be at least three Trustees at all times, other than the occasional short terms between the death, incapacitation or withdrawal of a Trustee, if the remaining Trustees number less than three, a successor Trustee will be appointed by election by the majority of members in attendance at the next meeting of the Thrive Stigwandish Foundation at which quorum is present. Additional Trustees may be added in like manner subject to the unanimous approval of the existing Trustees.
